Offering a high tungsten light output with fine-tuned focusing, the Dedolight DLH1000T is a mains operated lamp head capable of accepting G22 halogen bulbs up to 1000W. A refined optical system utilizes a two-lens configuration combined with unique mirror and lens movement that effectively suppresses spill light while yielding a wide 1:18 focusing range. This dual lens system also helps to produce smooth and consistent color and light output, with even distribution at each focus position for greater control. This model permits pole operated control for studio applications.
A durable, rainproof construction further complements reliable use, which pairs well with an efficient convection cooling system to maintain a constant and stable working temperature. Its design also permits easy opening of the light for servicing and changing lamps. A yoke is integrated into the lamp head's design, too, and incorporates a 5/8" receptacle and a 1 1/8" stud for mounting versatility.
Pole Operated Tungsten Model
As the tungsten version of the DLH1200D, this model is a mains operated lamp house designed to accept G22 halogen bulbs up to 1000W, as well as 750W, 650W, and 500W options from 120-240VAC. This model also permits pole operated control, making it ideal for studio settings.
Attributes and Benefits
- The high light output is benefitted by a 1:18 focusing range, which can be further extended to 1:50 with the aspherical wide-angle attachment.
- Unique dual-lens system maintains accurate output and color while also helping to avoid spill light.
- Rainproof design permits assured use on location.
- Easy-open design, along with a single leg yoke, provides quick access to the interior of the housing for changing lamps or servicing.
- Extremely low UV values, approx. 1/20 the value shown by other lights, offer greater consistency and accuracy in color.
High Efficiency Convection Cooling
- Full air intake on the bottom of the light
- Extra air intakes between the inner and outer housings
- Air gap around the front lens
- Low front air intake provides airflow between the two lenses (important in flood position)
- Constant working temperature of the lamp provides stability of color temperature and intensity.
