The HDRC-4000 HDR production converter unit is designed for use in simultaneous live 4K HDR and HD SDR content production workflows, eliminating the need for independent workflows on the same event and saving a production time and costs


Using a unique algorithm, the HDRC-4000 can ensure accurate format conversion of content produced in S-Log3 and BT.2020, to match the required distribution format. Its compact 1.5U body can support two-channel conversion.



- Very compact unit to be fitted into a conventional 19" broadcast rack / 1.5U high

- Can change the spatial resolution from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080 and vv

- Can change the color space from ITU-R709 to ITU-R BT2020 and vv

- HDR / SDR Conversion: 

      - HDRC-4000 can change from HDR (high dynamic range) to SDR (standard dynamic range) 

      - UHD-HDR -> UHD-SDR 

      - HD-SDR -> UHD-SDR / UHD-HDR

- OETF / EOTF Conversion: 

      - S-LOG3 -> BT709 

      - S-LO3 -> HLG / PQ (SMPTE ST-2084)
