Formatt FBC5x5LE2P2 - Fireburst Cine 5x5" Lemon 2pt Streak 2mm Spacing

Set your imagination aflare with the lemon 5 x 5" Fireburst Cine Anamorphic Streak Filter from Formatt Hitech. Embedded with monofilament threads set 2mm apart, this glass filter creates an anamorphic streak effect with two colored diffraction spikes streaking out from every point light source on the scene, such as the sun, a light bulb, or a candle. The Fireburst Cine is available in versions with 1, 2, and 3mm filament spacing, where narrower spacing results in stronger flaring.

The effect also varies depending on the size and prominence of the points of light you pick up with your filter, as well as on the contrast between those points of light and the ambient brightness. In low-contrast shots the effect is fine and subtle, whereas in high-contrast shots it is much more pronounced. Slightly refractive, the Fireburst Cine enables you to pick up and enhance surrounding colors.
