Whether in elegant black or as a classy highlight in white: the ultra-slim design impresses with a case frame that is around 1 mm wide. Only a 5.4 mm thin, black glass rim remains between the display and the frame on the side and top. The side profile and the back also appear slim and graceful. The screen is an absolute eye-catcher - with plenty of space for all your ideas.
One monitor, many connections
It couldn't be easier: You can connect most of your end devices such as PCs, laptops or cameras directly to the monitor. Because the monitor has different signal interfaces. The screen is also equipped with four USB 3.1 type A ports. Various devices such as a mouse, keyboard or headset can be connected. This makes your daily work easier and ensures a tidy desk.
Sensor buttons
There are sensor buttons on the front edge of the flat display, which allow easy access to the monitor settings.
Precise color control
The color reproduction is controlled via an internal 10-bit look-up table (LUT). This enables a more precise gradation of color information than with otherwise common 8-bit LUTs. White points from 4000 K to 10000 K can be set in 500 K steps using a color temperature control. In addition, the color saturation (gain) for RGB colors can be set separately.
Auto EcoView - optimizes the brightness for you
To prevent eye fatigue, the Auto EcoView sensor continuously measures the changes in ambient light and the intelligent monitor control automatically optimizes the screen to the ideal brightness values. With Auto EcoView you save up to 60% electricity compared to a monitor operated at full brightness.
Electricity savings of up to 30% thanks to EcoView Optimizer
The EIZO EcoView Optimizer reduces power consumption by up to 30% by reducing the brightness of the background lighting and increasing the signal amplification. In order to guarantee the picture quality, the EcoView Optimizer function only increases the signal amplification if the screen predominantly displays dark content, because the associated reduction in brightness is almost imperceptible.
0 watt power consumption in off mode
All FlexScan EV models have a mechanical power switch. This enables a consumption of 0 watts when the monitor is switched off. In stand-by mode, the consumption is a maximum of 0.5 watts.
Flicker-free images thanks to flicker-free LED technology
Flickering images cause tired eyes. Due to the usual technology of LED backlighting, flickering images are unfortunately part of everyday life for many users.
The monitors of the FlexScan series, on the other hand, use a hybrid technology developed by EIZO. They regulate the brightness in such a way that the user does not perceive any flickering and therefore does not cause tired eyes. This happens without any compromises in terms of color or image quality.
Perfect anti-reflective coating
An anti-glare screen reduces eye fatigue by scattering the reflected light. All EIZO FlexScan models have a perfectly anti-reflective surface.
Preset color modes: Optimized display at the push of a button
Preset color modes make it easier for you to work and view images, texts or films. Because it makes a difference in the color setting whether you are watching a film, editing a picture, surfing the net or writing texts. At the push of a button, you set the respective presetting for brightness, gamma correction and color temperature.
Less blue light - paper mode ensures healthy eyes
The negative influence of blue light on the health of the eyes is still an under-considered topic. It is precisely the high-energy blue light that can irreversibly damage the retina and the retinal pigment epithelium. Typical LCD monitors have a preset color temperature of 6500 Kelvin, which is very blue-light-intensive. The paper mode on EIZO monitors automatically optimizes the red light component and at the same time reduces the blue light component. This saves your eyes significantly when working intensively on the monitor and reduces eye fatigue.
Multimedia-capable thanks to image acceleration technology
The ASIC image control processor developed by EIZO with the "Dynamic Motion Picture Overdrive" image acceleration technology accelerates the switching time in such a way that gray-gray changes take place on average in just 5 ms. You can see films and quick image changes without annoying afterglow.
Screen InStyle software
EIZO's free Screen InStyle software enables easy management of monitor settings such as power consumption, color, brightness and gamma.
Monitor Configurator for network-wide settings
The work of network administrators is made easier: The software enables you to configure several monitors uniformly in one step - via USB connection. You save time and have the same settings for all screens. The configuration can be saved as an XML file and transferred to the clients.
Highly ergonomic positioning
This monitor is equipped with a highly ergonomic FlexStand foot. This enables the screen to be tilted and swiveled. In addition, this monitor can be positioned like a laptop and can be adjusted in height by an incredible 140 mm. This model can also be adjusted almost to the edge of the table.
Brightness range from 1 - 100%
In a dimly lit environment, a monitor with low brightness values is more comfortable for the user. With its LED backlights, this monitor can be adjusted up to 1 cd / m².
LED backlights: less power consumption, longer service life
Compared to conventional CCFL backlights, LED backlights consume significantly less electricity, generate fewer heat emissions and offer a longer service life.
Of course, EIZO LED backlights are free of mercury and therefore do not pollute the environment.
