Sony started a revolution in 2013 with the launch of its Alpha 7 Series. This was the first hybrid camera with a full-frame 24x36 mm sensor. More compact and lighter than the SLR cameras and also more affordable, the Alpha 7 was an immediate hit. Sony has subsequently developed a range of cameras to meet the diverse needs and requirements of professional photographers and photography enthusiasts.
Sony's flagship models today are the a7III, a 7R IV, a9 II, a7s II and the latest, Sony a1. In the professional Full Frame Mirrorless range, Sony developed the 7 and 9 series. The family of Alpha 7 devices comes in an a7C, a7(I-III), a7R(I-IV) and a7S (I-III) and then the a9 family, which comes in two versions.
The α7R V lets you capture your vision like never before, with dedicated AI processing to recognise and track your subjects. Image makers benefit from a new benchmark of still image quality and resolution, as well as up to 8K video capture, alongside dramatically improved 8-step image stabilisation, advanced connectivity and workflow.
Go for it!
- Newly developed AI processing unit
- 61.0MP full-frame back-illuminated - Exmor R CMOS sensor
- Advanced BIONZ XR engine boosts overall processing speed by up to 8x7
- Movie making with 8K 24p (25p) and 4K 60p (50p)
- Next-generation AF with advanced subject recognition
In addition to humans, animals and birds, the camera now recognises insects, cars, trains and airplanes, providing even greater flexibility and reliability when shooting both stills and movies. Heads and bodies are now recognised in addition to eyes (Real-time Eye AF) for the Human, Animal, and Bird settings.
The a7 III is the most versatile device, the best compromise between resolution (24 MP) and sensitivity (ISO 100 - 51200). It has excellent battery life, has two SD card slots that are UHS-II compatible.
No details are lost, thanks to a 24.2 megapixel full frame CMOS sensor, an ultra-fast response, ease of use and reliable durability for any shot.
This camera offers 693 point phase-detection autofocus points covering approximately 93% of the frame, and 425 contrast detection autofocus points for crisp sharpness. Of course, it records in 4K HDR.
Prepare to be inspired. The α7 IV’s true-to-life resolution and remarkable AI-powered autofocus complement a range of world-class features at the cutting edge of imaging technology.
With the a7S, Sony has placed the bar very high. This device is intended for videographers and night photographers. S is for sensitivity, it reaches new heights with an expanded ISO range for movies from 80 to 409600.
The latest addition to the Sony Alpha 7 range is distinguished by good noise management and the 5-axis stabilizer to capture clear images even at low speeds. Filming and photography at night becomes almost child's play.
The A9 II has established itself as the Concord of sports, news and events photographers.
The sensor provides ultrafast continuous shooting of up to 20 fps, non blackout shooting with a Live View capability of 60 fps and minimal display lag in continuous shooting. The speed of the electronic shutter goes up to 1/32 000 s. In short, the a9 II captures historical moments that were previously unobtainable.
The FX30 captures stunning images with 6K oversampling and a true cinematic look. Its compact size lets you take it anywhere, and sophisticated AF and stabilisation features let you concentrate on composition, not the complexity of crews and rigging.
Go for it!
Compact and light in weight, the FX30 can be operated in combination with gimbals and drones, or with a variety of attached equipment. It's designed to withstand long shoots, with sturdy construction suited to harsh conditions.
Sony's FX3 Cinema Line camera brings the visions of passionate content creators to life. Cinematic expression is matched with reliable performance and streamlined operation to serve the needs of today's creative community. Compact and lightweight, it's easy to carry and handle.

The a1 offers new dimensions in image performance, but also in workflow, giving the user complete creative freedom. 50.1 megapixel 35 mm full frame stacked CMOS sensor with integrated memory.
The advanced BIONZ XR processor boosts speed up to 8x. Continuous bursts at up to 30 fps, with AF/AE tracking. Shooting films in 8K 30p and 4K 120p. Wide coverage of 759-point phase detection autofocus and 425-point contrast detection.

Only Sony knows how to create the perfect lenses for their cameras. All of our lenses integrate the best of our unique technologies, in a compact and lightweight format. Whatever your subject, you will appreciate the incredible resolution and fast autofocus of our lenses. Discover how our unique technologies help to create the most beautiful images.
Unlike conventional motors which feature complex structures, our unique XD linear motors rely on direct motion that involves no mechanical parts or gears. The resulting lack of friction means high acceleration speeds, ultra-precise fast movements and total silence to follow your subjects.
Thanks to the 0.01 micron precision of the XA glass elements, the surface of our optics is extremely flat. This precision makes it possible to obtain the optimum resolution on the whole image, and also achieve a deep background blur with a silky appearance. All of these help to create the unique photographic signature associated with Sony lenses.
For both photography and video, all our lenses are designed and engineered to give you the best, whatever your discipline. With a range of over 50 E-mount lenses developed with the future in mind, your equipment is ready to go, no matter which direction you want to go in.
