The BVML-JD10 is a JPEG XS decoder license for the Sony's TRIMASTER HX master monitor BVM-HX3110. JPEG XS has various advantages. Low latency and a balance of high quality and high efficiency of video data compression are especially suitable for a live production. This license allows you to feed compressed video signal data to the monitor. By applying this, the monitor can decode a video signal that is the video compression standard “JPEG XS” corresponding to the SMPTE ST2110-22 standard. Compressed transmission of video data shot by a system camera and some other devices is possible, enabling efficient use of network bandwidth. As a result, it is possible to reduce the bandwidth of the network line required for remote production, which is expected to contribute to the reduction of network line costs.
