This Dante-compatible unit features 16x analogue inputs and 8x analogue outputs, enabling flexible system configuration with Yamaha digital mixers and processors. Rio1608-D3 is housed in a 3U 'sturdy' chassis and features a redundant power supply that ensures reliability, while the newly added headphone socket and output delay provide additional versatility.
Rio1608-D3 has a greater dynamic range in comparison to Rio1608-D2, with 120dB typical DA converter and 115dB typical input to output. It also has a lower residual output noise level of -93dBu when the main stereo channel is off. The Dante connectivity includes 10 receiving channels and 16 transmitting channels.
