From the camera control unit UHCU-8300 connected to the UHC-8300, 8K/4K/HD signals can be output at the same time, and different color gamuts and OETFs (Opto-Electronic Transfer Function) can be applied to each video signal, so 8K Simultaneous output of HDR signal, 4K HDR signal, and HD SDR signal is also possible. Also, due to the oversampling effect of 8K video, 4K/HD video can be condensed with a richer amount of information than the required number of pixels and output, enabling high-resolution video expression. It is also possible to build a system that links with 4K and HD camera systems. You can use familiar peripherals such as the remote control panel (RCP) and viewfinder in common with this product.

The UHCU-8300 is equipped with a wide variety of input/output terminals in addition to 8K output, so it is possible to build a system linked with a wide range of devices.

Realizes long-distance transmission

Compatible with video transmission technology network media interface (developed in-house) to convert video transmission to IP
In addition to SDI transmission from the UHCU-8300 connected to the UHC-8300, it also supports 40Gb/s IP interface technology network media interface (developed in-house) that enables video transmission via network, 8K/59.94p It is also possible to transmit signals to production equipment with a single cable.
Focus control from outside is possible
Focus demand FDJ-D02 made by Canon Inc. can be connected to UHCU-8300 to control the focus from the UHCU-8300 side. To use it, set FOCUS DEMAND in the MAINTENANCE menu to ON.
