Elinchrom ELC Pro HD 500 To Go Kit
Revolving around an updated triggering system, the ELC Pro HD 500 To Go Kit from Elinchrom is a versatile two-light lit comprising everything needed for basic lighting setups and wireless control. Beyond the two lights and EL-Skyport Plus wireless transmitter, this kit also includes two 90° reflectors, two glass domes, one sync cable, and a durable storage bag for the whole kit.
The ELC Pro HD 500 is a portable, multi-voltage 500Ws monolight offering variable power control down to 7Ws along with recycle times as fast as 0.7 sec and a flash duration of 1/5000 sec at 53Ws for freezing fast-moving subjects. The light is also characterized by its integrated EL-Skyport receiver, which is compatible with the included EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus for wireless remote triggering and power control from up to 656' away. This transmitter allows you to trigger and set flash power for up to four groups, as well as an all groups setting, and 16 different channels, which are split between eight normal channels and eight hi-speed channels. A locking metal accessory shoe connector allows you to secure the transmitter directly to a camera, a top hot shoe and a 2.5mm sync port are available for directly connecting an additional strobe, and a swiveling design helps to improve reception for more direct transmission.

The ELC Pro HD 500 Flash Head from Elinchrom is evidence of the company's continued commitment to pushing the envelope in monolight design. Elinchrom has packed the ELC Pro HD 500 with professional features we've come to expect from a flash head of this caliber and added quite a bit more. Short recycling times coupled with fast flash durations make freeze-motion, stop-action shooting possible. In fact, up to 20 frames per second is possible at minimum power. An intelligent low noise, temperature-activated fan keeps the head cool and lengthens the life of both the flash tube and modeling lamp. A pre-flash detector lets you integrate your on-camera flash into your studio system.
Power, variable continuously from 7 to 500Ws, can be mimicked by the 300W proportional modeling lamp to preview your effects. Although Elinchrom provides one, you can swap the sync cord with a separately purchased 8-channel transceiver for wireless triggering from your camera. The head has one built-in to receive the signal. Flash modes allow you to address special situations. The Sequential Mode enables triggering up to 20 ELCs in bursts or in a continuous cycle. Delayed Mode offers a choice of first or second curtain syncing while Strobo Mode allows single frame stroboscopic action sequences. Finally, the auto-sensing multi-voltage power supply means that you can use the ELC Pro HD 500 anywhere in the world.
