Arri True Blue D12 Set - With Alf
ARRI TRUE BLUE D12 Set with ALF, without DMX.
Includes lamphead ARRI TRUE BLUE D12, ballast EB 575/1200 (L2.76425.0), 4-leaf barndoor, filterframe and head-to-ballast cable.
Building on the success of the industry-standard ARRI Compact Fresnels, the new fixture ARRI TRUE BLUE D12 has over 30 new improvements.
Most of them relate to design of housing and external parts, which generally makes the fixtures of this series extremely functional.
ARRI has redesigned these new lampheads down to the smallest detail, offering lighting professionals better choices for location and studio work. All TRUE BLUE fixtures carry not only CE declaration but also an independently assessed TUV certification.
ARRI EB 575/1200 – the classic electronic ballast that operates at standard current frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Should be used with lamps of 575W and 1200W.
Ballast operates in two modes – 75 Hz in «Flicker Free» mode and 50 or 60 Hz in «Low Noise» mode.
Ballast with ALF. Made in blue standard housing.
Features
- Pressure die cast and extruded aluminum components have reduced the overall weight of the ARRI TRUE BLUE D12 without any sacrifice in quality or durability. ARRI’s cross cooling system was realized, special air channels direct a constant stream of air around the Fresnel lens and into the construction, even when the lamphead operates at 90° tilt angle.
- Corrosion-resistant housing is durable, fixture is manufactured to the IP23 standard. ARRI TRUE BLUE D12 is suitable for indoor or outdoor use providing a degree of protection against falling rain (up to a 60˚ angle from vertical).
- ARRI’s innovative stirrup is lightweight and stable, with reliable tilt lock. Moves by special grooves for pan and tilt, smooth adjustment the fixture’s center of gravity.
- Two-position accessory brackets can be quickly adjusted for two or four scrims. By reducing the space between the scrims and the lens, unwanted reflected and spill light is minimized.
- Top latch is specially coated for improved corrosion resistance and is spring loaded for fast operation even when hot.
- There is a second safety catch mounted on the bottom accessory bracket. This eliminates the need for a barndoors safety bond without restricting the rotation. New ARRI barndoors use a special alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio. The leaves withstand bending and deforming far better than traditional barndoors.
- The safety mesh maximizes light transmission and is tough enough to withstand location abuse.
- ARRI TRUE BLUE D12 has been designed for serviceability with more common parts across the line. There is easy access to all interior parts. ARRI’s new aluminum extrusion also makes cleaning fixtures easy.
