Angelbird SSD WRK For Mac 512 GB

The 512GB SSD wrk for Mac from Angelbird is a 2.5" solid state drive that offers ample storage space to hold your digital files. It features a sustained read of data up to 563 MB/s, sustained write up to 450 MB/s, and offers a 72000 IOPS rating. Furthermore, this drive offers additional performance with native TRIM support. To support the performance this drive offers, an integrated Silicon Motion 2246EN controller provides up to 6 Gb/s transfer rates to your Mac via the SATA III interface.

With Trim support, your data is saved faster and it prolongs the life of the drive by using the storage cells less. In addition, this drive has a special designed power circuit for protecting it from overloading and static shocks. It also features an Uninterruptible Power Supply for additional protection. Since this drive has no moving parts, it draws less power from your notebook allowing you to work longer without a power adapter. Along with the drive are software programs that include Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac, Bitwig Studio, System Reflection, and Pure Mix.

Native TRIM on Mac

SSDs are faster than traditional hard disk drives, but they can't keep up their quick speed forever. In order to maintain an SSD, you need the TRIM command, a garbage collection utility that is built into the background of your Operating System. SSD wrk for Mac supports TRIM straight from the box, with no driver, software or TRIM Enabler needed.
