The BVML-HE171 HDR licence allows the BVM-E171 TRIMASTER EL™ OLED critical reference monitor to support HDR images,with wide colour gamut, and OLED black pictures with pixel diming and great off-axis performance. The HDR licence supports EOTF 2.2, 2.4, 2.6 CRT, S-Log3(HDR), S-Log3(Live HDR), S-Log2(HDR), ITU-R BT.2100(HLG), SMPTE ST2084, 2.4(HDR).
* BVM-E171 monitor must be updated to v1.1 first. The HDR features are activated via the BKM-17R monitor control unit.

Activate with BKM-17R monitor control unit

The HDR features are activated via the BKM-17R monitor control unit. Order the purchase key for the BVML-HE171 from your Sony sales representative, receive your activation (install) key from the Sony eCSite, then download and save the licence to USB Memory. You can then insert the USB Memory to the BKM-17R to activate HDR features of your BVM-E171 with v1.1.
