Sony HDCE-100/SM100 - HDCE-100 + HKCU-SM100 PACK

Many sports facilities including stadiums, golf courses, race tracks and winter sports venues utilize a single mode fiber cable on a temporary or permanent basis for long distance camera transmission.

To meet the fast-growing demand for an affordable solution to long-distance transmission with single mode fiber cable (SMF), Sony has introduced the HKCU-SM100 CCU extension adaptor and HDCE-100 camera extension adaptor. With these newly released products, Sony now offers a total system solution from camera head to CCU using single mode fiber.


Easy conversion from optical fiber to single mode fiber 

The HKCU-SM100 and the HDCE-100 are designed for easily converting the cable format between the camera head and base station (CCU) from SMPTE optical fiber to SMF. In addition, the HDCE-100 can also be utilized with the BPU-4000 baseband processor unit, and supplies power to the CA-4000 camera system adaptor.


Long-distance transmission

With the HKCU-SM100 and HDCE-100, a maximum distance of 10 kilometers can be achieved between the camera and a base station CCU.


Flexible and affordable camera system solution

This total solution from Sony does not require a major investment. Just add these two adaptors to your existing HDC or HSC Series camera system, and you can achieve long-distance transmission at a low cost.
